Effective training can not only reduce the risk to you and your staff but also enhance company performance. Training is a legislative requirement. Lack of training will adversely affect your insurance in the event of a claim against your company.

IOSH Directing Safely - For the senior managers to understand their health and safety responsibilities

IOSH Managing Safely - For managers, supervisors and team leaders responsible for implementing the day to day health and safety

IOSH Working Safely - To increase individual awareness of health and safety and an individual's responsibilities.

Other Training Courses:

Risk Assessment - Designed to enable delegates to understand the fundamentals of risk assessment and carry out assessments.

Office Safety - Raises awareness of health and safety and the hazards found in the office environment.

Fire Awareness - Informs staff of the possibilities and dangers of fire.

Fire Warden - Teaches selected staff how to effectively assist in the evacuation of a building.

Manual Handling - Informs staff of the hazards of manual handling and mitigation measures.

Fork Truck Operator - Vital for all who operate fork trucks. New operator and re-test courses available.

Overhead Crane operation - The safe use of pendant or remote overhead crane.

Slinging Course - The correct methods of attaching slings, chains, etc prior to lifting.

Vehicle Banksman - Ensure HGV's, etc are safely directed onto loading bays, manoeuvre safely whilst on the premises, etc.

Operation of Scissor Lifts and Cherry Pickers - You must ensure persons who use this equipment are correctly trained.

HSE First Aid at Work (3 Day Programme). HSE First Aid at Work (2 Day Refresher)
Available as a three day program or two day refresher course. The course meets the syllabus requirements of the HSE. It equips the delegate with the skills to deal with major and minor emergencies in the workplace. They will gain the confidence to prioritise casualties and administer relevant treatment. Qualifies staff for 3 years

HSE 1 Day Emergency First Aid At Work Course
This course meets the syllabus requirements of the HSE one day course. The course is run over a full day with continual assessment. Content includes workplace emergencies and how to manage them. Qualifies staff for 3 years

Automated External Defibrillator Training (AED)
Training your first aid trained staff to use AED is a life-saving measure. Statistics show that thousands of people have cardiac arrests each year; combined with good basic life support (CPR) and a qualified AED operator, you can significantly improve a victim's survival chances before they receive aftercare life support in a hospital.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety
This qualification provides employees with a foundation in conflict resolution, with emphasis on the importance of personal safety to enable them to protect themselves in the face of confrontational behaviour.

Bespoke Training:

We can tailor many of our courses to be specific to your company, e.g. include your risk assessment method in the risk assessment course.

We can also develop and deliver bespoke training packages to suit topics of your choice. Some examples of bespoke training we have delivered include:

• Skin care

All delivered as part of a national company's apprentice training scheme.

We also give assistance with a distribution centre's health and safety fun day. This can include quizzes, hazard spotting and a fork truck driving skills competition.
