Sue and I are pleased that HASCAT Safety has been successful in reaching the finals of the SME Bedfordshire Business Awards in the Community Business of the Year category.
This is for our voluntary work we do to help support local charity. HASCAT Safety have been supporting Keech Hospice Care for 10 years by providing free health and safety training and help with other safety matters. In addition we help sell their raffle tickets and collect items from family and friends for their shops.
Sue and I find helping very rewarding and encourage businesses, no matter what size, to get involved in a charity near them. Helping charity is not just about raising money, time and skills are also important. So why not ask yourself what skill/ability can you offer to help your local charity?
We will find out if we are successful at the awards dinner on 12th July at the Bedford Corn Exchange but just reaching the final is great.
