OSHCR

OSHCR has arrived.

What is OSHCR?

The Occupational Safety and Health Consultatnts Register (OSHCR) has been set up by a number of profesional bodies representing health and safety with the support of the HSE. It’s purpose is to help businesses access consultants who are qualified and experianced.

In order to qualify to go on the register consultans must meet at least one of the following requirments:

  • Chartered status with either IOSH, CIEH or REHIS
  • Fellow status with IIRSM with degree level qulifications
  • Member or Fellow status with BOHS
  • Registered member or Fellow of IEHF

All who wish to join must also:

  • Keep up to date by undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Provide sensible advice
  • Abide by their professional bodies codes of conduct
  •  Have professional indemnity insurance or equivilent

The Register will be available to the public in early spring.
